Kakinada, Jan. 30 -- A total of 132 municipal corporation employees were screened for various eye ailments and given free medicines and spectacles at the free eye camp organized jointly by the RS hospital and Ray Optics at the municipal commissioner's office near Sarada temple on Thursday.
Corporation commissioner Bhavana Vasista while inaugurating the camp advised the employees not to neglect the eye problems but had regular check ups and doctors advise.
She said that the free eye camp was organized as a part of the Swacha sarvekshan programme.
She has complemented the RS hospital and Ray Optics for identifying those require surgeries for sight improvement and also for distributing spectacles and medicines free of charge. Corporation...
