Chandigarh, June 4 -- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday said that a "sorry state of affairs" was prevailing in the country as any view or idea opposing the propaganda of the BJP is now being labelled as "anti-national".

Interacting with the media persons here at his official residence, the Chief Minister said that it is "ironic" that Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu has contradicted his stand on Operation Sindoor by saying that he was echoing the voice of Pakistan.

He said it is "unfortunate" that Bittu has issued such "irrational statements", whereas his "masters sitting in Delhi have been giving hypothetical and baseless statements".
