Karachi, May 2 -- In a tough guy posture against India, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the Indus River is Sindh's identity, and any attempts to divert or choke it, will be met by bloodshed.
Ever since India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty, in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, a panic driven Pakistan has done a lot of tough posturing, with politicians issuing all kinds of rhetoric, warning India of "grave consequences" if any attempts are made to divert or stop water from the Indus River.
For its part, India has paid little heed to any of Pakistan's posturing, and had earlier released water from the Jhelum River into POK without notifying Islamabad, leading to flooding in Muzaffarabad.
