Kaithal, April 19 -- Building pressure on drug smugglers, the Anti Narcotics Cell Kaithal (Haryana) has cracked two separate cases nabbing two accused and recovering 27.64 kg of poppy husk from their possession.
A police spokesperson stated that in the first case, a team led by SI Pradeep Kumar, in-charge of the Anti-Narcotic Cell, and ASI Jagbhan, were patrolling on NH-152D from Kaithal to Pundri and Mohana on the intervening night of April 18-19. They received a tip-off that a truck was parked on the side of the highway, with a passenger consuming poppy husk and possessing a large quantity of the substance.
