Hyderabad, Dec. 20 -- The Cyberabad Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) arrested six sex workers and eleven transgenders during night raids conducted as part of a weeklong special drive (from Dec 13 to 19), in the city.

During the raids, six victims were rescued and two suspects were arrested and two cases were registered under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act (PITA) cases, said K. Srujana, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Women & Child Safety Wing), Cyberabad, in a release on Saturday.

Cyberabad SHE Teams conducted 137 decoy operations and caught 66 persons red- handed while indulging in indecent acts at public places.
