Patna, July 17 -- In yet another shocking incident in Patna, a group of criminals stormed into Paras Hospital, a prominent private hospital located close to the state police headquarters in Patna, early on Thursday and opened fire at an inmate Chandan Mishra.
The attackers, reportedly five in number, fired multiple rounds at Chandan, who was on parole for medical treatment. The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack, causing panic and chaos in the hospital.
A resident of Buxar, Chandan Mishra had several murder cases registered against him. He had been imprisoned in Beur Jail, Patna, since 2024.
