Chennai, Oct. 18 -- The Met office today said a Well Marked Low Pressure Area lay over southeast Arabian Sea and Lakshadweep area off Kerala-Karnataka coasts and another system was likely to form over the Bay on October 21.

It said the associated cyclonic circulation with the LP area over southeast Arabian sea extends upto mid tropospheric levels.

It is likely to move west north-westwards and concentrate into a Depression during the next 36 hours.

An upper air cyclonic circulation lay over Gulf of Mannar and neighbourhood and extends upto lower tropospheric levels.

An upper air cyclonic circulation lies over south Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.
