New Delhi, June 16 -- In yet another incident involving an Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner, flight AI 315 from Hong Kong to Delhi was forced to return to its origin shortly after takeoff due to a suspected technical issue.

This comes just four days after a devastating crash involving a Dreamliner on the Ahmedabad-London route.

According to sources, flight AI 315 departed from Hong Kong at 11:59 PM (local time) Sunday night-delayed by three hours and nine minutes. Soon after takeoff, the pilot suspected a technical anomaly. In response, the pilot kept the aircraft flying over the sea for some time, and when the issue could not be resolved, he decided to return.
