Chennai, Feb. 3 -- Rich tributes were paid to DMK Founder and former Tamil Nadu
Chief Minister C N Annadurai, popularly called as 'Perarignar Anna', on the occasion
of his 56th death anniversary on Monday.
Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin led the State in paying floral tributes to
the late leader to mark the occasion.
Mr Stalin, accompanied by his Cabinet Colleagues, DMK MPs, MLAs, district functionaries
and cadres, took out a silent procession from the Anna Statue to his memorial on the Marina
beach front and paid floral tributes to the late leader.
To mark the occasion, the government organised 'Samabandhi' (free meals involving people
