Ahilyanagar, Nov. 8 -- If the children of ministers are involved in misconduct and corruption, the responsibility lies with the ministers themselves, said veteran social activist Anna Hazare here on Saturday.
Talking to reporters, he emphasised the importance of family and social values in shaping a person's character.
"When a minister's child engages in wrongdoing, the concerned minister must be held accountable. Strict action should be taken in such cases," Hazare stated.
He was reacting to the alleged land scam in Pune's elite Koregaon Park area, in which Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and his son Parth Pawar have been accused of irregularities.
