Chandigarh, July 19 -- BJP leader Vineet Joshi slammed AAP MLA Anmol Gagan Maan's resignation, calling it a betrayal of the public mandate in Kharar.

He termed her three-year tenure a "nightmare," accusing her of neglecting the constituency and being absent during key public crises.

Joshi alleged that this marks AAP's second betrayal of Kharar - the first being former MLA Kanwar Sandhu, who remained inactive for most of his term.

He said people in Kharar, Kurali, Nayagaon, and New Chandigarh rarely saw their MLA, even as pressing issues like demolitions, land seizures, power cuts, and flooding persisted.
