Mumbai, Nov. 20 -- U.S.-deported gangster Anmol Bishnoi who has been arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Delhi, will help answer several key questions linked to the Baba Siddique murder case, in which the NCP leader was shot dead in Bandra last October, sources close to the probe said here today.
Anmol, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, is considered the main conspirator in the killing of Baba Siddique. He is also suspected of involvement in the April 2024 firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence, and is believed to have operated extortion and terror networks from abroad.
The NIA had sought 15 days' custody, but a Delhi court granted 11 days of NIA custody.
