Kolkata, Sept. 16 -- A day after Bengali cinema actress Mimi Chakraborty was quizzed over nine hours for her alleged endorsement as the brand ambassador for an online betting app, her colleague Ankush Hazra today appeared before Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials in Delhi in the same case, official sources said.
The federal agency, probing the money trails in online betting under the Money Laundering Act and Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, is questioning all high- profile persons, both cine actors and former cricket players, as to how they were involved in the endorsement of the illegal betting app.
