Shymkent (Kazakhstan), Aug. 29 -- Ankur Mittal produced a sensational world record-breaking show on the final day of the Asian Shooting Championship 2025 here today, as India capped off their campaign with their biggest-ever medal haul of 103, including 52 gold, across senior and junior categories.
Mittal dominated the men's double trap event, scoring 107 hits across four rounds to set a new world record. He finished well ahead of Kazakhstan's Artyom Chikulayev (98) and Kuwait's Ahmad Alaffasi (96), who settled for silver and bronze, respectively.
The 2018 world champion also joined Bhanu Pratap Singh and Harshvardhan Kaviya to bag the team bronze in the men's double trap.
