Lucknow, Feb. 6 -- The Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Department will hold a key meeting at Maha Kumbh on February 8.
The discussion will focus on livestock development, dairy industry growth, and cow shelter enhancement in UP, with an emphasis on animal health, commercial use of cow urine, and doubling milk production.
Discussions will likely cover amendments to the Dairy Policy 2022, ensuring 24-hour availability of animal hospitals and strengthening milk cooperatives. Following this meeting, the proposals will be presented before the cabinet for final approval.
