Bhubaneswar, Sept. 24 -- Odisha Industries Secretary Hemant Sharma has described the Angul Aluminium Park Pvt. Ltd. (AAPPL), at Angul, as a major growth opportunity set to expand rapidly.
Sharma urged investors to explore the potential at AAPPL, which currently spans 223 acres and is planned to grow to over 600 acres.
He was addressing an exclusive roadshow for AAPPL, a joint venture between IDCO and NALCO to develop a dedicated industrial park in Angul, Odisha.
Highlighting Odisha's aluminium strength, Sharma noted that while the state produces nearly 72 percent of India's primary aluminium, its downstream output remains low, presenting vast growth opportunities.
