Lucknow, Sept. 19 -- Tension gripped the Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT) area of Lucknow on Thursday when angry villagers blocked the Lucknow-Sitapur highway, protesting the death of a 32-year-old man in a road accident.
The protest, which lasted nearly an hour, resulted in a traffic jam stretching over two kilometers.
The incident occurred near Babapurwa village in the BKT police station limits.
On Wednesday evening, Lalit, a resident of Babapurwa, lost his life in a tragic road accident in front of the Nandna railway crossing.
