Vijayawada, Oct. 7 -- The Andhra Pradesh High Court here on Tuesday refused to grant anticipatory bail to one of the liquor scam accused Chevireddy Mohit Reddy.

Chevireddy Mohit Reddy is the YSRCP leader and former chairman of Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA).

He is Accused 39 in the liquor scam. After hearing the arguments, the High Court refused to grant anticipatory bail to Mohit Reddy.

Mohit Reddy argued in the court that he was falsely implicated in the liquor scam to dent his reputation and sought anticipatory bail. He also promised that he would cooperate with investigating agencies. However, the court refused to grant anticipatory bail to him.
