Vijayawada, Sept. 29 -- Voicing concern over the security of leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has demanded that the BJP should suspend its spokesperson Pintu Mahadev from the party for openly issuing a death threat to the Congress MP in a TV debate.
The party also demanded registration of a case against Mahadev.
Talking to the media here on Monday, APCC vice president and AICC member Kolanukonda Shivaji said that BJP spokesperson Mahadev openly announced that Rahul Gandhi will be shot in the chest while participating in a TV debate.
