Hyderabad, June 30 -- Aurobindo Pharma has resumed its Penicillin-G production at its Kakinada facility in Andhra Pradesh through its subsidiary, Lyfius Pharma, following the receipt of the 'Consent to Operate' (CTO) from the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB).
In an exchange filing on June 29, the Hyderabad-based pharma giant said that Lyfius Pharma Private Limited (Lyfius), a wholly owned step down subsidiary of the Company, has re-started the production, with immediate effect, after receiving the CTO from APPCB on Sunday.
It may be mentioned here that Aurobindo Pharma has commissioned four manufacturing facilities, including one for Penicillin G, in Andhra Pradesh, through wholly owned subsidiaries in April last year.
