Sriharikota, July 30 -- It was an incredible decade that culminated in the successful NISAR mission, Casey Swails, Deputy Associate Administrator, NASA said.
Speaking at the Mission Control Control after GSLV-F16 successfully injected the Earth Observation satellite precisely into the orbit, she congratulated the NISAR team members and ISRO.
"It has been just an incredible decade culminating in this moment from this technical collaboration,
the cultural understanding, getting to know each other, building that team across continents, across time zones, missing weekends, with families, holidays," she said.
She said the earth science mission is one of the kind and really shows the world what the two nations can do.
