New Delhi, March 7 -- Just hours after an Indian Air Force (IAF) Jaguar aircraft crashed in Ambala, an Air Force transport plane AN-32 was reported to have made an emergency landing in Bagdogra, West Bengal, on Friday.

The IAF spokesperson said, "It is confirmed that there was an incident involving AN32 aircraft. The aircraft is being recovered from the site. Crew of the aircraft is safe."

Earlier in the day, a Jaguar fighter jet crashed at Ambala during a routine training sortie after encountering a system malfunction. However, the pilot ejected safely.
