Imphal, Nov. 6 -- The All Manipur Working Journalists' union (AMWJU) and Editors Guild Manipur have served a legal notice to the People's union for Civil Liberties (PUCL), demanding the immediate withdrawal of what it described as a "baseless and defamatory" report that allegedly maligns the image of the journalists' body.
According to the two bodies, the notice-prepared and served by Advocate Hijam Chandrakumar-demands an unconditional withdrawal of the PUCL report and a public apology within 30 days.
