Chandigarh, Feb. 11 -- The Punjab Police has achieved a significant breakthrough in its ongoing crackdown on organised crime by dismantling an arms trafficking module in Amritsar district.
Police officials apprehended two individuals and recovered five high-quality weapons, Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav confirmed that the seized arsenal includes three 9 mm Glock pistols and two .30 bore pistols.
The arrested suspects have been identified as 25-year-old Rohit Arora, a resident of Gilwali Gate, and 24-year-old Harpreet Singh, also known as Happy, from the village Meerakot Kalan.
