Chandigarh, Nov. 7 -- In a breakthrough against cross-border drug trafficking, Amritsar Police have arrested two youth with a consignment of 2.8 kg of crystal methamphetamine (commonly known as 'Ice') allegedly dropped by a drone from Pakistan.
The accused, identified as Gursevak and Baljit, were nabbed following a targeted operation based on intelligence inputs. The seizure, officials said, exposes an expanding network using drones to smuggle narcotics across the international border.
