Chandigarh, Dec. 3 -- Amritsar-based painter and paper artist Jagjot Singh Rubal has once again drawn attention with a striking new creation, a large portrait of Russian President Vladimir Putin, completed just a day before the leader's scheduled visit to India.
Known for his detailed and expressive artworks, Rubal spent nearly 14 days crafting the painting using acrylic colours on canvas.
Measuring 5 feet in width and 7 feet in height, the artwork stands out for its imposing scale and fine detailing. Speaking to the media, Rubal shared that he had originally hoped to personally present the portrait to President Putin. However, due to stringent security arrangements surrounding the high-profile visit, he was unable to obtain permission.
