Kochi, Sept. 14 -- Amrita Hospital today organised a free paediatric cardiology mega camp, Mathrusparsham, as part of Amritavarsham, the 72nd birthday celebrations of spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi Devi and the 25th anniversary of its Department of Paediatric Cardiology.
The camp was inaugurated by Kerala High Court Judge Justice Devan Ramachandran, who hailed it as "a shining model of humanity living for others."He reminded doctors and nurses of their responsibility, echoing Mata Amritanandamayi's message that "life itself is compassion."In a special video address, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi stressed that compassion and empathy should guide the work of doctors and nurses.
