Amravati, April 16 -- Police have arrested four more accused in connection with the sexual exploitation and circulation of objectionable videos on social media in Amravati-Paratwada, officials said.

With this, the number of accused has risen to eight. Police are keeping a close watch on those circulating the videos. SIT investigation is underway.

Rural Superintendent of Police (SP) Vishal Anand informed reporters that no victimised girls or their parents have come forward to file a formal complaint yet.

The first arrest in this case, which has caused a sensation across the state, was of a 19-year-old prime accused, Ayan Ahmad.
