Chennai, Oct. 30 -- Chennai based Ampa group plans to have about 1,000 star hotel room keys in a couple of year's time, said a top official of the group.
Speaking to reporters here Ampa Palaniappan, Chairman and Managing Director said the group will be focussing on 7/8 hotels and 3/4 residential greenfield projects.
Operating in real estate, IT and finance sectors, the group has already begun three hotel projects with Tata group's Indian Hotels Company Ltd - under the brands Ginger, Vivanta and one premium brand.
Palaniappan said the Ginger (200 rooms) and Vivanta (150 rooms) is an integrated project coming up in Hosur.
