Srinagar, April 8 -- Amod Ashok Nagpure on Wednesday assumed charge as Senior Superintendent of Police, Anantnag, following a formal handing-over ceremony at District Police Headquarters.
Before taking over, he visited District Police Lines to pay heartfelt tributes to police martyrs, saluting their supreme sacrifice for the nation, a police spokesman said.
