Guwahati, Jan. 29 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive Assam capital town Guwahati on a two day visit on Thursday late evening.
Shah is expected to lay the foundation stone of state's second Legislative Assembly complex at Dibrugarh on January 30. To be built at a cost of about Rs 300 crore, this second assembly complex in Dibrugarh will give new momentum to Upper Assam.
The union Home Minister will also address a public meeting at Dibrugarh following which he will go to Dhemaji to inaugurate a festival of the Mising tribe.
Assam BJP welcomed the scheduled visit of the union Home Minister and said that every visit of the union Home Minister to Assam has carried a message of renewed development.
