Mumbai, Aug. 29 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Mumbai tonight for a two-day visit coinciding with Ganeshotsav festivities, at a time when the financial capital is gripped by Maharashtra reservation protests.

Shah is scheduled to arrive at 8:50 pm.

The Home Minister will visit Lalbaugcha Raja, one of Mumbai's most famous Ganesh mandals, tomorrow. Shah visits Lalbaugcha Raja every year with his family.

During the visit, Shah is slated to meet Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who will brief him on the political situation, the ongoing Maratha protests, and preparations for the Maharashtra mega local bodies elections.
