New Delhi, Oct. 9 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah today chaired a high-level meeting to review the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, emphasising that security forces will continue to have full freedom to crush any attempt to threaten peace in the region.
Highlighting the importance of cohesive and vigilant operations, Shah underscored the need for all security agencies to work in close coordination to eliminate terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir.
He also stressed the need for heightened preparedness during the winter months, cautioning that terrorists may attempt to exploit snow-covered terrain to infiltrate across the border.
