Kolkata, April 13 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday said that funds for the BJP's proposed monthly financial assistance of Rs 3,000 to women and unemployed youth in West Bengal would come from curbing corruption under the Trinamool Congress government.

Addressing a public rally in Raniganj in West Bardhman -his third meeting of the day-Shah defended the BJP's recently unveiled election manifesto, released in Kolkata on Saturday, which promises Rs 3,000 per month to women and jobless youth if the party comes to power.
