Sitamarhi, Aug. 8 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah today laid the foundation stone of the grand Mata Janaki Temple at Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi district.
Shah, along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the temple's construction in Sitamarhi. The rituals were conducted with full Vedic chanting in the presence of saints from across the country, several union ministers, Deputy chief ministers,
cabinet colleagues of Nitish government and others.
