Amit Shah launches nationwide campaign to mark 150 years of 'Vande Mataram'

Patna, Nov. 7 -- Home Minister Amit Shah launched a national campaign to mark the 150th anniversary of the composition of the national song 'Vande Mataram' at a function held at the BJP state headquarters in Patna on Friday. To mark the occasion, BJP leaders sang its complete version together.

The BJP is celebrating the event through grand programmes, recognising 'Vande Mataram' as a symbol of national spirit, the history of independence, and cultural unity.

Amit Shah also led BJP leaders in taking an oath from the 'Swadeshi Sankalp Patra'.
