New Delhi, July 25 -- The ongoing President's rule in Manipur is likely to be extended for a period of six months as Union Home Minister Amit Shah has given a notice in the Rajya Sabha.
According to a parliamentary bulletin dated July 24, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Minister of Cooperation has given a notice on the following resolution which has been admitted.
According to the Bulletin No. 65663, the resolution says, "That this House approves the continuance in force of the Proclamation dated the 13th February, 2025 in respect of Manipur, issued under article 356 of the Constitution by the President, for a further period of six months with effect from 13th August, 2025."
