Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 11 -- union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah on Sunday mounted a wide-ranging political offensive against the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the opposition United Democratic Front (UDF), accusing them of political theatrics, mutual accommodation and corruption, while asserting that the Bharatiya Janata Party's rise in Kerala is irreversible and that the State will eventually see a BJP Chief Minister.
Speaking at a meeting of newly elected representatives of local bodies in Thiruvananthapuram, Shah said the LDF and the UDF have been indulging in drama for decades and have repeatedly come to each other's rescue whenever electoral arithmetic demanded it.
