Chennai, Feb. 25 -- Senior BJP Leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Textile city of Coimbatore on a three-day visit to Tamil Nadu on Tuesday night.

He was received at the airport by Union Minister L Murugan, BJP State President K Annamalai and other leaders.

Mr Shah will inaugurate a new BJP party office on Wednesday morning and hold talks with the senior party leaders on the strategy to be adopted for the 2006 Assembly polls and to strengthen the party in the Kongu belt comprising Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode and neighbouring districts, where it has a good voter base.
