Mumbai, Aug. 29 -- Senior BJP leader and union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived here tonight on a two-day whirlwind tour coinciding with Ganeshotsav festivities at a time when the financial capital is under the grip of Maharashtra reservation protests.
At the airport he was welcomed by Chief Minister Devendar Fadnavis, state BJP president Ravindra Chavhan and other top BJP leaders.
Shah will visit the Lalbaugcha Raja, one of the famous Ganesh mandals in Mumbai, on Saturday afternoon.
He visits the Lalbaugcha Raja every year with his family.
