Hyderabad, June 29 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Hyderabad today to participate in a series of programmes, including the inauguration of the National Turmeric Board in Nizamabad.

Shah landed at Begumpet Airport at 1300 hours, arriving from Ahmedabad. He was received by Union Coal and Mines Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy, along with other senior party leaders.

Following his arrival, the Home Minister proceeded to Nizamabad by helicopter to attend the official inauguration and related events.
