Chennai, Aug. 22 -- With the crucial 2026 Assembly elections due in 8 months, union Home Minister and BJP's master poll strategist Amit Shaharrived here today afternoon to address the BJP Booth Committee Conference in southern Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu.
Mr Shah landed in Thoothukudi from where he reached Tirunelbeli by helicopter at 1600 hrs.
He was accorded a rousing reception on his arrival from New Delhi by senior BJP leaders who termed his visit would herald a new era in the state in 2026.
After addressing the conference in Tirunelveli from where BJP Tamil Nadu Unit President and BJP Legislature Party Leader Nainar Nagendran hailed,Mr Amit Shah will leave for New Delhi.
