Sitamarhi, Aug. 8 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today jointly flagged off the Amrit Bharat train connecting Sitamarhi and Delhi. The train will facilitate easy communication for the people of Sitamarhi, Bairgania, Raxaul, Sikta, Narkatiaganj, and Bagaha.
The Amrit Bharat weekly train will run from Sitamarhi to Delhi. This is the seventh Amrit Bharat train for Bihar, as per railway sources. Earlier, the country's first Amrit Bharat trains were introduced between Darbhanga via Ayodhya to Anand Vihar Terminal and from Malda Town to Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal, Bengaluru.
