Dhaka, Oct. 7 -- Aminul Islam Bulbul has been re-elected as the president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) following the board elections held at a city hotel here today.

Former national skipper Khaled Mashud, who captained Bangladesh during the early phase of its Test cricket journey, was elected as one of the 23 directors on the new board.

Mashud secured 35 votes from the category reserved for former cricketers, government, and autonomous bodies (Category 3).

According to Returning Officer Dr Sheikh Jubayed Hasan, the election was conducted in accordance with the BCB constitution, which divides representation into three categories - 10 directors from district and division representatives, 12 from Dhaka clubs, and one from the forme...
