Latehar, Feb. 13 -- The Palamu divisional team of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) carried out a successful operation in Latehar district and arrested an Amin while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 7,000.
The accused, identified as Nunudev Kumar, was posted at the Garu Block-cum-Circle Office in Latehar. He was caught red-handed while taking the bribe in exchange for processing a land-related matter.
According to official sources, the complainant had approached the ACB alleging that the Amin was demanding Rs 7,000 to move forward with certain land-related work.
