Chennai, Aug. 14 -- Amid growing concerns over US tariffs and in the midst of significant shifts in global trade flows, the Government of Tamil Nadu, accounts for nearly 31% of its exports to the United States as against India's overall exports of around 20%, held a meeting the exporters from key sectors like textiles, automobiles, gems and jewellery, heavy engineering, electronics, among others.

The meeting held at Guidance Tamil Nadu and chaired by Industries Minister Dr TRB Raaja, was aimed at reinforcing its commitment to the Industry to ensure Tamil Nadu, as India's export engine, remains strong and future-ready.
