Amethi, Dec. 18 -- Construction of the autonomous state medical college being built by the Uttar Pradesh government in Amethi district is near completion.
This medical college, being built in Tiloi tehsil at a cost of approximately Rs 300 crore, will be fully operational in 2026. Its opening will provide better healthcare facilities to the people of the district and surrounding areas.
Currently, OPD and indoor services are being provided at the 200-bed hospital attached to the medical college.
According to officials, a new 300-bed hospital and a 50-bed critical care block will be handed over by January 31, 2026. After this, the hospital will have a total capacity of 550 beds. The construction of the nursing college is also expected to be...
