Lucknow, April 14 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday paid tribute to 'Bharat Ratna' BR Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, describing Baba Saheb's ideals as guiding principles.
In his message, the Chief Minister said Baba Saheb laid a strong foundation for a harmonious and inclusive society, illuminated by the high ideals of equality, justice, and fraternity.
He said his contribution to the creation of the Indian Constitution is incomparable, providing the country with a direction to democratic values.
The CM said Baba Saheb was dedicated to Antyodaya and public welfare. "He is truly a priceless gem of Mother India. His entire life was dedicated to the uplif of the deprived and weaker sections of society".
