New Delhi, Dec. 16 -- : Airline Pilots' Association of India (ALPA) president Sam Thomas on Tuesday raised serious concern over fatigue, fear, and punitive fines affecting pilots, calling the present situation a "critical juncture" for the profession.
Amid the IndiGo fiasco, Thomas, in a video message to pilots, said many aviators are operating in a 'hostile environment,' marked by intense schedules and regulatory pressures.
ALPA India, an associate member of the International Federation of Airline Pilots' Associations (IFALPA), represents pilots across 75 countries and holds an observer seat at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
