Prayagraj, Aug. 22 -- Allahabad High Court has stayed the entire proceedings of the case registered against former MP Rewati Raman Singh for rigging the elections and violating the code of conduct during the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
The court has sought a reply from the state government, and a rejoinder by the petitioner before the next date of hearing on September 18.
The order was given by a single bench of Justice Sameer Jain on the application of Rewati Raman Singh.
During the Lok Sabha elections-2024, Sub-Inspector Manish Kumar Rai had registered a case against former MP Kunwar Rewati Raman Singh, driver Chandrashekhar and about 50 of Singh's supporters at Kareli police station.
